Birthdate of the Sarpy Serenaders

Let's go back to 1987. I worked in Omaha but I lived in Lincoln where I was a member of the Lincoln Continentals Barbershop Chorus. I was also president of the Central states District of SPEBSQSA with 64 chapters and 2,500 members in the states of Iowa, Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska and South Dakota. The biggest concern of the district president was membership.

Newsflash

The Sarpy Serenaders were selected to sing the National Anthem at the 2008 College World Series on the 17th of June. There were 23,000 in the stands when the Serenaders sang the Anthem at Rosenblatt. In the words of Katie Karmazin, from the office of the College World Series, Inc., "You should be especially proud of your accomplishment in light of the excellent turn out we had at this year's auditions."
